In buying, selling or owning land a clear and precise definition of land can be difficult and determine. At Riverlands Surveying Company we know how difficult this task can be and that's why we can help you. Our staff of trained and experienced employees can help you make the best decision on your property or land matters. We can take the visible and make it into visible results. By this statement, we mean that we can survey your land and create results that are easy to read, either by a computer aided drawing or a legal description created by our computer aided drafting (CAD) department.

After working for the family land surveying business in LaPlace , Louisiana for nearly twenty years, Stephen P. Flynn, P.L.S. and Donna A. Flynn started Riverlands Surveying Company in 1994. In 1998, Riverlands Surveying Company decided to expand and become a statewide survey firm by deploying crews all across the state of Louisiana . The only thing that has remained the same since those early days is our commitment and mission, “To provide unlimited services to a limited number of clients.” This commitment has enabled us to create and sustain close working relationships with our clientele.

We have also kept close ties with our local communities. Riverlands Surveying Company has provided free seminars and lectures to the local Louisiana Technical Colleges to advise current students on the aspects and careers in surveying. We have also hired several personal from these colleges.
